Katong the new French neighborhood?
Since 2011 more and more French related-businesses are opening their doors in the Katong area. Schools, bakery’s, wine cellars and restaurants. Let us present 4 shops that recently arrived in the neighborhood:
Enochs (April 2014)
A French Restaurant owned by chef Enoch who cooked for years in top French restaurants such as Absinthe. After being one of the favorite local “duckbreast” hawkers at Alibaba, he decided to start on his own and share his passion for the French cuisine.
Enjoy the unpretentious, affordable food in a friendly and almost home feel environment.
Most popular dish: The confit de canard!

ABC bakery (sept 2014)
A contemporary Singapore born bakery with over 7 outlets! Award winning chef, Eran Mayer imports his flour directly from France and uses traditional French baking techniques for the breads, morning pastries and tarts.
Breakfast, lunch, coffee or dinner… you’ll always find your bonheur here;)
Since the opening early September in I12 Katong, we love to bring some croissants to our early morning students!

Wine Connection (Sept 14)
Originally created in Thailand by the Frenchman Michael Trocherie, Wine Connection is one of Singapour’s favorite wine and cheese bars!
The open bar style and the great service, are tempting for an easy gathering with friends or an after work drink. The I12 Katong situated outlet offers amazingly coldcut platters, French cheese and delicious international wines at affordable prices!
